DeliveryGo — Delivery Driver App

VanGo manages the full van sales cycle — loading stock onto the van at day start, invoicing customers on the road, collecting payments and reconciling returned stock at day end. Device Registration & Security

Each BetaGO app install is registered to a specific device and user account. Device registration can be revoked remotely if a phone is lost or an employee leaves the company — immediately preventing any further access to business data from that device. App-level PIN and biometric authentication adds an additional layer of security to protect sensitive customer and financial data on field devices.

Install & Register Devices

Download the relevant BetaGO app from the Play Store and register the device with your BetaSuite company code. Each device is linked to a specific user account with the appropriate permissions. Device registration takes under 5 minutes and can be managed remotely by your IT admin.

Sync & Go Offline

On first launch, the app syncs the relevant data — customer lists, products, stock levels, schedules — to the device. From that point, the app works fully offline. Field staff operate normally in areas with poor connectivity and sync when they return to an area with network coverage.

Work in the Field

Sales reps capture orders, delivery drivers confirm deliveries, employees clock in — all from their phones. Every action is timestamped, GPS-stamped where applicable, and queued for sync. Critical business data is captured in real time at the point of work, not reconstructed later from memory or paper notes.

Sync Back to BetaSuite

When connectivity is available, all actions sync back to BetaSuite automatically. Head office sees field data update in real time. End-of-day reconciliations consolidate field collections, delivery confirmations and attendance records into the main system without any manual data transfer.

BetaGO apps run on Android smartphones and tablets (Android 8.0 and above). Most affordable Android phones available in Kenya work well with BetaGO. For barcode scanning in RetailGo, any standard camera-equipped Android phone works, or you can pair a Bluetooth barcode scanner. We recommend devices with at least 2GB RAM for the smoothest experience. iOS support is on the roadmap for future releases.

Yes — all BetaGO apps are designed to work fully offline. They download the necessary data (customers, products, schedules) when connected and continue operating normally when connectivity is lost. Transactions are queued locally and synchronised automatically when internet is restored. This offline capability is fundamental to BetaGO's design because we understand that network coverage across Kenya is uneven, especially for field teams working outside major urban centres.

StaffGo captures attendance using GPS geofencing — the employee can only clock in when their phone's GPS location is within the configured radius of their assigned branch. Optional facial recognition adds biometric verification on top of GPS location. Clock-in attempts from outside the geofence are recorded as location exceptions and flagged in the attendance report for the manager to review. This combination eliminates buddy punching and false remote attendance claims.

When a driver arrives at the delivery location, they open the delivery order in DeliveryGo and tap "Deliver". The customer signs on the phone screen or the driver takes a photo of the delivered goods and recipient. The app records the GPS coordinates and timestamp of the delivery automatically. This proof of delivery is uploaded to BetaSuite and attached to the delivery order — available immediately for customer service to reference if a delivery dispute arises.

Yes. Each BetaGO app install is linked to a specific BetaSuite user account. User permissions in BetaSuite control what each employee can see and do within the app — for example, a delivery driver can see their own deliveries only, while a delivery supervisor can see all deliveries in their area. If an employee leaves or a device is lost, their device registration can be revoked immediately from the BetaSuite admin panel, preventing any further access.

Yes. MarketGo is designed specifically for B2B field sales where reps visit business customers, take orders, capture visit records and manage customer relationships from the field. The app shows the rep's customer list with visit frequency targets, outstanding account balances, last order date and any open quotations. Orders raised in MarketGo flow directly to BetaSuite's sales order module without any re-entry. Customer visit GPS records provide the management team with field activity reporting.

Yes. All BetaGO apps are distributed through the Google Play Store for easy installation and automatic updates. When BetaSuite releases a new version of a BetaGO app with new features or security patches, users receive the standard Play Store update notification. Enterprise deployment via MDM (Mobile Device Management) is also supported for large field teams where IT administrators manage device configurations centrally.
